Twitter Increase the Limit on Videos

Written by Melanie Revins on 24th June 2016

Twitter are always announcing changes and new features and this week Twitter revealed a huge change to their platform. They have increased the limit on videos, meaning that you can now tweet your cinematic moments up to 140 seconds.

These extra 110 seconds will allow you to release your creativity, while still enjoying the fast pace and trending hashtags that has helped Twitter become one of the world’s largest social platforms.

The inclusion of pictures and videos has transformed Twitter from a wordy and text heavy newsfeed, into a buzzing collage of funny, bizarre and informative snippets.

The California based giant was launched in 2006 and currently has over 1.3 billion registered profiles.

Twitter has become one of the go-to social networks for businesses, over the last couple of years as more and more companies are making the move and joining Twitter to engage directly with their followers and provide them with a more in-depth insight.

Twitter is a fast paced and ever changing landscape making it one of the most exciting platforms available to businesses with over 500 million tweets sent per day!
