Repairmystuff.ie Nominated for ‘Excellence in Local Government’ Award

FCDM are delighted to announce that one of our most recent projects, Repairmystuff.ie has been nominated for an Excellence in Local Government Award under the best ‘Joint Local Authority Initiative’ category.
The Excellence in Local Government Awards showcase best practice in local government and recognise the skills, hard work, innovation and enthusiasm within local government that can often go unrecognised. The Excellence in Local Government Awards are held in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government.
FCDM were commissioned by Monaghan County Council to design and develop a Repair Directory Platform for Ireland. FCDM delivered a bespoke solution that created a strong digital identity and journey that maximised the user experience.
Our creative web design team crafted an appealing and distinctive digital journey with clear messaging to engage users. We created a simple, clean interface that is easy to navigate and compliments multiple screen sizes.
Our experienced in house web developers, developed and integrated an interface portal for businesses to easily register their repair service and details on the platform. We selected a content management solution, WordPress, that offered maximum user friendly administration control including a function to add info-graphics and related designs within the website, to add a Google Map field to any of the websites pages, to add/remove pages and dictate the hierarchy of these pages.
FCDM were also responsible for development of a professional logo, tagline and key language for the directory and created all of the associated branding assets.
Repairmystuff.ie has been a huge success by supporting, promoting and encouraging a repair industry in Ireland and our team were delighted to have been part of such an excellent initiative.
